Potatoes 3 Ways

Potatoes are easy, versatile and delicious

— CHEESY BAKED POTATOES —

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 potatoes
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tbsp. pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 cup shrimp
  • 1/2 cup sausage
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

 

Directions:

  1. Boil potatoes for 20 minutes
  2. Peel the potatoes and add butter, salt, pepper, and mesh it with folk
  3. Add in milk to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
  4. Put the mashed potatoes in a small pot
  5. In a skillet, add olive oil, shrimp and sausage. Stir-fried until cooked. Add to the top of the mashed potatoes in the small pot.
  6. Add mozzarella cheese and bake for 10 minutes in the oven at 400 F

 

 

 

— HASSELBACK POTATOES —

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 large potato
  • 1/3 cup salami
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika

 

Directions:

  1. Place a potato between the handles of 2 wooden spoons or 2 chopsticks. Slice the potato into thin slices, leaving 1/4 inch at the bottom unsliced; the spoon handles will prevent you from slicing the potato all the way through. Repeat with the remaining potatoes.
  2. Add salami in between the potato slices; add olive oil, salt, pepper, cumin powder, and paprika on the potatoes.
  3. Bake for 35 minutes at 400F until tender and crisp

Ingredients:

  • 1 and 1/2 cup shredded potatoes
  • 1 cup ground meat
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tbsp. pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • (optional) chopped green onion

 

Directions:

  1. Shred the potatoes
  2. In a large bow, add the ground meat, salt, pepper, egg, and flour to the shredded potatoes. Stir the mixture until evenly blended.
  3. In a large skillet, use a scoop to put the potatoes mixture in the skillet and fry them until golden and crisp.
  4. Garnish with chopped green onion.
